Ant Control Services

You may have heard about Termidor Termite Control. More than two million homes in the U.S. have been professionally treated with this undetectable liquid. In the few short years it’s been around, it has been proven to be the most effective at completely eliminating termite populations. And now, Termidor is approved for use outdoors to control ants indoors.

Chances are, the ants in your house actually have their nest outside – they travel back and forth for food and water. Since they live outside, it makes sense to control them there. Termidor Ant Control is applied to the exterior foundation walls of your house, creating a treated area of protection.

Undetectables: A Proven Solution In the past several years, the professional pest control industry has been revolutionized by new control technologies, especially in the area of non-repellents or “undetectable” liquid treatments. Unlike older insecticides, undetectables can’t be smelled, tasted, or even felt by pests. So they crawl through the treated area, not knowing that by ingesting treated materials or merely contacting the insecticide, they’ll die.

Termidor is unique because ants not directly exposed to the Termidor-treated area will be controlled as they come into contact with affected ants. This “Transfer Effect” means you’ll see its effects on ants in one to three days, and most species will be controlled within the first week following the treatment.

Get rid of ants and pests – then keep them away by following these easy tips. Ants and cockroaches need food and water, and they need a way to gain access to your home. Since they can be very persistent, you need to be just as persistent. By taking some simple steps to help control nuisance pests, you can be part of the solution.

Inside:
  • Clean up spilled food and beverages.
  • Diligently take out the trash.
  • Rinse out jars and containers before you place them in trashcans and recycling bins.
  • Pick up and store your pet’s food before going to bed.

Outside:
  • Seal doors and windows.
  • Keep rain gutters clean to prevent moisture inside walls.
  • Trim trees and shrubs away from your house; ants can use limbs as “bridges” to gain access.
  • Store firewood up off the ground and away from your house.

Inside and Out Initially, after the treatment, you may still see some ants and roaches crawling around. If you do, don’t kill them or spray insecticide around them. We want them to transfer the product to other pests. Once Termidor has had time to do its job, ant and roach activity will stop.

testimonialBees Be Gone

Killian Pest Control,

I went outside and looked one more time and was astonished to find that the bees were gone! You guys went over and above on this job. Again, I want you to know how much I appreciate your professionalism and desire to help a person in need. The whole experience from talking to Larry on the phone to watching you in action was a positive experience. While my sphere of influence is not that big, I will surely recommend Killian Pest Control to anybody who asks me about pest control.
